I don’t think patience comes naturally to many people. While a form of the other fruits might be found as natural attributes or part of our personality, patience usually requires a very intentional way of life. I find that the most pressing weed I need to pull in order to grow patience is hurry – hurry makes people look like problems and sets me on edge. How can we pull the weeds of hurry (and any others) that keep patience from growing? And how do we practice and grow patience? Patience is so lacking that this is a really rare fruit in today’s culture, it is definitely one that people will notice and search out.
