Small Groups

"And they continued to meet together, with glad and sincere hearts"

Acts 2:46

We believe that life is better when we are connected. Part of what we hope to do for every person who calls United Church their home is help them find deep and authentic community where they can be known, discipled, and cared for. We have three different types of groups, take a look below and check them out!

NEXT STEPS GROUPS

These groups are for those who are:
new to the church and/or a relationship with Jesus,
returning to the church after having been away for a time, or
curious about covenant partnership and leadership.

NEXT STEPS CAFÉ

Next Steps Café is held seasonally following service. It is an opportunity to share a meal with some of our pastors and staff, get to know others in the community, and ask questions.

UNITED 101

United 101 is the first step for those interested in becoming a Covenant Partner at United Church. This short class gives an overview of our mission, vision, and values and explains the organizational structure of the church.

UNITED 201

In United 201, new covenant partners will learn about our essential tenets, foundational beliefs, and the larger ECO Presbyterian denomination.

UNITED 301

United 301 is a class that helps covenant members discover their spiritual gifts and explore the opportunities to use them to build God's kingdom.

Short Term Groups

Our short term groups are usually focused on a topic (parenting, finances, marriage) or for a certain group (men, women, seniors).
Short term, topically focused, groups are a great way to try out small groups and find community connections.

As short term groups are formed, they will be listed here and on our calendar! Please fill out the form below to be connected with small groups!

Ongoing Small Groups - Sermon Based & Topical

We have several on-going small groups currently with a goal to see several more formed this year! The majority of our on-going groups meet off-site either weekly or bi-weekly. Our on-going community groups are either sermon based discussion groups or Bible studies through books.
